Make the Best Pumpkin Pie

I love making homemade pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Butter works fine for the pie crust for some people.

I have used butter in a pie crust one time in the past and it was an extremely hard crust. I didn't over mix the pie crust.

I use vegetable shortening to obtain a beautiful pie crust.

I made pumpkin pie a couple of times, the first time at uni. The second time I made it was for my family, they didn’t like it. 😢

The pie looks delish! But I just gotta say, that was not a generous amount of whipped cream:P lol That was a small, to normal amount. When you say top generously with whipped cream, my pie better look like it's grown a snow covered mountain on top of it :P
