This is a complete Wireshark and Ethical hacking course.

Make sure you know where to capture packets or frames in a network. Do you know how devices such as hubs, switches and routers treat traffic? Do you know what port span is?

In this course I'm going to show you how to capture packets from a network, how to capture passwords, replay voice conversations, view routing protocol updates and many more options.

Do you know network protocols? Do you know how to hack? Want to learn wireshark and have some fun with Ethical hacking? This is the course for you:

Learn Wireshark practically. Wireshark pcapng files provided so you can practice while you learn! There is so much to learn in this course:

- Capture Telnet, FTP, TFTP, HTTP passwords.
- Replay VoIP conversations.
- Capture routing protocol (OSPF) authentication passwords.
- Troubleshoot network issues.
- Free software.
- Free downloadable pcapng files.
- Answer quiz questions.

The course is very practical. You can practice while you learn!

Learn how to analyze and interpret network protocols and leverage Wireshark for what it was originally intended: Deep Packet Inspection and network analysis.

Protocols we capture and discuss in this course include:
- Telnet
- FTP
- TFTP
- HTTP
- VoIP
- OSPF
- EIGRP
- DNS
- ICMP

I was hoping you will filter the capture to the router for the server IP, clear the ARP table of the switch and show that first packet to the server is also captured on the port to the router to demonstrate how the switch will flood the first packet if it doesn't know where the destination MAC is.

Also was hoping to flood the switch with fake MAC addresses filling the CAM table and demonstrating how attacker can eavesdrop on traffic even if he is no capturing on the interfaces between the client and the server.
Lets hope we will see this is the upcoming videos.

-Great video thanks for sharing quality content about vital knowledge to network engineers to really understand how networks work not only for certification exams, after all we are going to be professionals and knowledge is vital for troubleshooting or at least being able to discuss with DEV if the problem is down to layer 4 or if it is a layer 7 programming error (for me it will always be layer 7 lol).
-Good but a funny addendum ...
-Following the tip of Chuck's I dived to prepare for Junos for JNCIA test on the next mount, after all a free text of the second network manufacturer in the world its very useful for me, and wen I start the classes I realized that it is totally different from everything from Cisco that I had learned, a Juniper is closer to a server Linux than a Router as I knew or learn in Cisco, and they have an absurdly greater focus on security.
-It is totally different the way of routing for example greater than the focus of the protocols are the focus on their versions of access lists that are focused on sequences of rules, this is because I am running a Router not a firewall ...?! ?!?!?
-But then, as I couldn't use the Packet Tracer to simulate Junos, I had to make a GNS3 server on my Linux PC, because it was the only option to study Junos without having to buy real hardware, ok I spent the end of week learning GNS3, I set up Cisco models that I knew for study, and ok, made some labs to training and everything perfect, so I installed the Junos equipment.
- Until then, I installed the configuration, and in the previous days I set up and tested Cisco topologies to train GNS3, there it ran and with emulated servers, several routers and everything didn't reach the 8GB of Ram use, then I added ONE Junos in the middle of When I turned it on, I found that the system started to be a little slow, but ok, then when it finished booting Junos I look at the monitor that I leave on the PC desktop and it just went up from 8GB to 13, almost 14 GB of RAM usage, my RAM is gone.
-The PC crashed there I had to spend another whole day getting an image of Junos to be able to at least run a topology of studies, but it is not less than 11GB running.
-Conclusion, I need a xeon server again and Ram .... lol
-Thank you so much for the videos and for the knowledge, colleague and teacher ... !!!

Such good explanantions, great how you -

shouldn, t the source MAC address be the mac address of the switch ge0/1 since it is captured after switch and destination be router interface mac address. The layer 3 makes sense, but, now i am a bit confused about layer 2. please explain.
