Just letting people know: "Earlier releases of Npcap (before 0.9983) installed a software network adapter called 'Npcap Loopback Adapter' for this purpose. This is no longer necessary, and can disrupt network operations in some cases."
So you might not see that in Network Connections now.

Many years ago, back when it was called Ethereal, I used Wireshark to show my manager how easy it was to see user IDs and passwords. Back then, the company network was still using hubs, so other user's traffic was visible.
