I’ve found it’s also important to realize that sometimes, focusing too much on being frugal can end up costing you more than you save. (I’m guilty of this.) It’s where you spend so much time trying to find the best deal or research the best option, that you waste valuable time that you could’ve spent doing something more productive, ideally towards an activity that generates additional income. Time is one thing we can’t buy and only have a finite amount of it it. So if you can afford to pay someone to do a task for you rather than spend hours learning to do it yourself or buy a product that you know how to use and gets the job done even if it’s a few dollars more, it may be worth it to save the time you can spend more wisely elsewhere. Don’t forget, time IS money! 🤘🤑

I live frugally within a budget, and in doing so, I use my credit card for nearly everything. I sign on once a week to pay the outstanding balance, and convert those rewards points into gas cards. Also, I save my loose change. The quarters I set aside for parking, and the rest I let accumulate...which I eventually dump into the Coin Star machine at the supermarket, and I put that cash ticket towards my groceries that day.

Owning a house is one of the biggest expenses there is. In just the last year we’ve needed: a new shed, new gutters and woodwork, a paint job, replacement of a broken dishwasher, and more.

Libraries also have excellent free class. I have been learning Spanish with the library's help. They have classes both in person and online.

I know this might sound crazy to you Erika! I was gassing up my car (I live in WI) and I saw you at the kwik trip pump on a VIRAL COMMERCIAL about how you have such great tips and help people so much. They showed your tiktok shorts and youtube! It was awesome because I've been here since 2019 watching your stuff including Brains. Thank you for all you do!

Great vid! Love the idea of choosing annual subscriptions AFTER you've tried a monthly for a couple of months to determine if you like it.
