What an awesome workout I've got for you today! Grab some 3 pound dumbbells if you want or a set of dumbbells that is appropriate for you! We will be going through ab exercises and kickboxing moves to really rock the core today! We are working for 40 seconds and resting for 20 seconds, make sure you work on speed and control with your kicks and your core work! As always the more you breath and move quickly, the more you get out of this workout so keep the intensity high! Let's CRUSH IT!

Equipment I use:

*Please take note that calories burned vary for every individual depending on multiple factors (e.g. age, body weight, heart rate, height, effort intensity, etc). Any slight variation in any of these factors can dramatically alter the amount of calories you burn. I calculate all of my calories using an Apple Watch 3 with the High Intensity Interval Training Workout application and I am 28 years old, 5’8”, and weigh 145lbs so you can use my few factors as well as my intensity level to gauge yourself.

In this workout you are training with me, Sydney Cummings, owner of Royal Change and NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I am a fitness trainer is Charlotte, North Carolina and was a Division 1 athlete at West Virginia University where I was a national qualifying high jumper. I use my knowledge from my NASM certifications, bachelor’s degree, nursing school experience, and my elite athletic background to lead you through workouts designed to make you a stronger, more balanced athlete. I woke up today and I just didn't want to move. Really had no motivation. But I persevered and did this, not happily either. But at the end, I am glad i did it. Very happy now.

I’ve taken kickboxing & fight classes for 7yrs; on your side kicks, the opposite foot should be pointed to the side, not straight. One could really hurt/twist a knee. 😊Love your enthusiasm & workouts.

Man I was not feeling my best this morning . However when I saw we were doing some kick boxing which is my favorite after doing with Sydney in the past.. I said oh we are going to do this! And i crushed it! Kicked butt today!

Crushed it!! Had to do a bit of modifications and not do weights a round here or there since I only had 5 lb dumbbells to use, but made it through! Thanks so much Sydney!!
