Try calling into the insurance companies aswell, I tried checking on insurance comparison sites and the lowest I was offered was ~£1300, but when I called the Insurer I was able to get it down to £900 with my first car (23y/o).

Could be because the person you’re talking to has taken a liking to you or as they’re more human and possibly had an inkling of your general personality compared to just an AI looking at data.

Bike storage insurance wise a locked shed is classed as a garage or something else

Is there a reason why Bennetts only insure Type approved vehicles and not MSVA IVA approved Vehicles, which have been issued with a Ministry Approval Certificate. This makes it impossible to insure a moped or motorbike that that has been self built, modified to meet vehicle standards or imported. We are no longer part of the EU and given that you are the leading bike insurer in the UK would you consider including IVA approved vehicles so insurance could be granted.
