Weird that none of these really discuss saving money, rather pushing you to spend on insurance.
It's almost like it's sponsored by an insurance company and can't be taken seriously

Ouf, I don't know how I feel about an episode about saving money on isurance sponsored by an insurance. Seems like a conflict of interest to me!

Myth #8: Progressive has great rates. 😂

Progressive must have paid yall a pretty penny to up sale their insurance, liability on my bike with progressive and un insured is 400 a year, slap comprehensive on that bad boy or gir and boom 3500 dollars a year, i have a speeding ticket from 2018, if I don't wreck for a year and a half I'll make my money back for what I paid for my bike. Ngl I like this channels content but this is definitely just a 10 min ad, no thanks.

Not one tip to save on insurance has ever been true for me in Ontario. I pay $210 a month for my GSX S750, nothing changed when I aged past 25, and the MSF was literally a requirement to get insured, and still only 2 out of 10 insurance companies would even look at me for not riding a cruiser and being over 35. Perfectly clean driving record for over 10 years now. Insurance IS a total scam and the only reason I really have it on my bike is because I'm required too.

Really just a commercial for Progressive. The most important aspect of motorcycle insurance is not really replacing your bike or providing for roadside towing, but keeping you protected from getting sued if the accident is your fault. And you should have other health insurance because Progressive is not going to pay your medical bills in full you get seriously injured.

A lot of businesses will get you to sign up and then slide your premiums up arbitrarily hoping you don't notice. So one of the best ways to save money is to just swap out your insurance everyone once in a while or get them to price match.

One of the other weird things I ran into is when people ask me about riding it's not automatically assumed that I also have a license, in fact they're surprised I have a license. That would be like meeting someone who owns a nice car and being surprised that they have a driver license.

I’m 21, new rider, 2021 sv650, have a garage. BUT, progressive quoted me 7k/yr. THEN I called Geico, they gave me $178/yr for only liability, and comprehensive is like $600/yr. what the hell progressive, I trusted u.

My girl and I both share a Harley Davidson insurance plan on her Yamaha Bolt, and my Kawasaki Z900. She's 30, and I'm 26 and we only pay $48 for BOTH of our bikes!

You forgot to mention how your bike is classified by insurance will affect the rates. A $13k "Sport-bike" will run you $150 a month, while a $25k "Cruiser" can be as little as $350 a year.
I ditched my Triumph Daytona 675 when rates got to $200 a month. As a married, old guy with no accidents that was unbearable. Now I have a Triumph 765 Street Triple RS, basically the same bike and pay $325 a year.
Get an insurance quote before you buy the bike!!!

Tried getting a quote, ended up being way more expensive than my current insurance through Geico.

Just as a note, I have full coverage and GAP insurance as my bike is on loan with the bank. I highly recommend you do this, especially if you have a nice bike, this covers the difference between insurance and the actual value of your bike.
