Das da is the most requested item in a German bakery.

The last one was German level. This is true German level. You might not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

"Das da" - "Das da?" - "Nein, das da" - "Das da?" - "Ja, das da" _(s tier conversation in German)_

I can't believe I'm actually learning German from skits. Please keep this up!

Congratulations, you finally mastered German at C2 Level.

You know you mastered German and German humor when Germans feel comfortable enough to not even try speaking English in your comment section. 😀

I always like your little smirk at the end like you've gotten away with something.

The baby drop, the retired guy's grimace, the dismissal by the clerk, the flirty eye wink by the bun haired woman, the neck cracking and the classic smirk....Liam takes a moments interaction to a whole new level. Excellent level of detail.

Habe letztens auf einem Schild einer Bäckerei gelesen: "Das meist verkaufteste Brot heißt 'das da'." 🤣

Since there are so many types of bread here in Germany, that even we get confused. I think we can all agree, that our favorite type of bread is "das da oben" 😅

It's cool to see an "ausländer" coming into the German fold. Brings back memories of when I first moved to Germany. You are a TRUE Deutscher when you know the shortcuts👍🏻

How can a DB employee be this efficient? It is impossible, their nature is to be indecisive and tell everyone behind them to wait a bit.

Having worked in a German bakery for 5 years, can confirm this is true expert level.

God level would be gesturing to something with your chin and just saying the amount you want. Maximum efficiency.

Spot on 👌 Worked in a bakery for quite a few years and not only do you learn to be able to interpret 89 versions of "das da" but when a customer was struggling to tell me what product they want I always said "keine Angst, ich verstehe auch 'das da' " (don't worry, I also understand 'this thing there') 😂

I watch these videos and then go back to my German colleage and tell what I learnt about their culture from YouTube shorts.
