Some cob, or mud clay, would help seal out the cracks and chimney against wind and risk of fire. Picture southwestern style adobe, but in chunks rather than bricks. It’s amazing stuff. Billions of people are living in mud dwellings before Jesus times and currently. Great work bud. It is super fun to play in the dirt.

I love that he is like I'm sleeping in a hotel until the shelters done and I brought sandwiches. Hides nothing and don't care. This is what makes Ryan so awesome! Well that and the constant corny jokes.

this is really REALLY quite impressive for someone with no experience. I live in an area very similar to this forest and commonly do stuff like this. it took almost a year before i could make a shelter this good. its very impressive, you're a natural ryan! 👍
