I’m going to be honest, the face of the old doctor was much more terrifying for a specific reason: his eyes and mouth look like they are being FORCED open with the tools against his will and there’s almost a hint of fear on his face. He looks like a demented human in an f’ed up position. The newer one has nice texture, but his brow looks furrowed and his mouth looks snarled, as if he has complete motor control over his face and the tools are just for show. He looks more like a monster, which to me is quite boring. It’s not as…horrifying in a way.

If I remember correctly the one of reason reasons why his model changed was because the guy they based the doctor on was a infamous for using harsh stock therapy on most of his patients. They probably thought they could be sued by him since he was still alive so they changed him to be American instead of Chinese

Reminds me of the oppressor class from Enemy Territory Quake Wars. The eyes are all wide and teeth are constantly exposed. Similar metallic bits in the head. Just generally real nasty looking.
