I never saw somebody online that recommends the inclination of the bed for GERD management. The only thing i saw recommended is to elevate your head via pillows, but i started thinking and came with this idea on my own. Now it gives me confidence in it, for it is good that i've found the professional recommending it and approving it. Thanks.

I had neck pain for a few days I think because of bad sleeping posture and tried to sleep with good posture on my back for a while and it was helping my neck pain slowly go away.

Last night I finally went to sleep on my side for the first time in a while and funny enough, I am awake currently because of an acid reflux attack in my sleep.
Here’s the kicker.

I was sleeping on my left side.

Imagine my feeling when searching for how people should tackle acid reflux in the moment not only to find no info on what to do in the moment, just tips on preventative measures, and those tips tell me to do all the things that, coincidentally, I was specifically already doing when it happened.

I unfortunately have TMJ on my left side... I've been trying to sleep on my left side and now my face is scrunched and I see a blue vein on my face.... Drives me nuts

I have to sleep with my spine raised and I can't use the raised cushions for that so I sleep on my couch and put a pillow against the arm and put my sleeping pillow up against it. I have to fight to get my sleeping pillow just right so my neck doesn't kill me the next morning. I'm going to try lifting the front of the bed. I wanted a bed where the head lifts up and everyone said it would look like a hospital bed.

I have alot of problems sleeping so i have insomnia now. Sometimes it happens uncommonly in the morning but common commonly at night. Hot acid flushes around my body into my esophagus and I have very bad nausea everyday to where i cant even enjoy car rides anymore! What a shame.
