The voice actor for Pegasus is amazing. He gives it his all and I love every second of it. He’s such a troll but also scary.

Pegasus sounds like he's always flirting with everyone.

After all these years...and without sleeves to boot, his Blue Eyes cards are still in perfect condition. The fact that he keeps them in his pocket as well...dude's as hardcore as they come.

James left team rocket and did pretty well for himself.

Kaiba basically risked his 3 rarest cards just so he could take a look at Pegasus' trades binder

Maximillion Pegasus' VA is REALLY good over the years. I've gotten used to this VA ever since I 1st watched it from Season 1. Since 2003. Plus, they also created Kaiba's Theme Music.

Honestly, Pegasus constantly taking opportunities to humiliate Kaiba, as well as reminding him of his losses to Yugi was the best part about the movie for me.

There is a reason he’s still my favourite character

Kaiba: "I'll wager these"
do remember I invented YuGiOh and I can just mass produce them right?"

"True, I may not see as well as I used to, but it doesn't take a magic eye to see how much Yugi trounced your sorry behind again and again." Pegasus spitting fire

Pegasus was retired and probably not interested in dueling for the moment and yet he accepted this simply for a chance to humiliate Kaiba

Pegasus: "My, my your even more desperate than I thought. I guess I can dust off my deck"
They call him Peg-a-sus for a reason.

Even with one eye, Pegasus is still burning Kaiba with his words.

“True I may as not see as well as I once did”

I was REALLY hoping we’d see what he looked like since Bakura ripped out the Millennium Eye

Loving that Pegasus has his own wine with Toon Blue Eyes as the mascot and a silly 90's-esc font for the year.
Also kind of interesting how after Pegasus lost the Millennium Eye not only did he permanently lose his left eye, but he also lost his entire left eye socket. This may be an animation mistake though.

For a moment I thought I was watching YGOTAS but remembered this is the actual dub

Close your eyes and it's just Brock and James having a duel related conversation.

0:04 - I don't really see Pegasus sweating at all. He doesn't seem like he's exerted himself even once since he got the millennium eye.

The ironic thing is, the card Pegasus is referring to is the Blue Eyes Shining Dragon - a card that can only be summoned by tributing the Blue Eyes _Ultimate Dragon, _ which itself has to be tributed by fusing three Blue Eyes White Dragons, Via Polymerization.
So in a sense, it's almost like Pegasus _made this card specifically for Kaiba to use._ Unless at the prospect of the three Blue-Eyes being on the table, Pegasus considered that with those cards, _he'd_ be able to use the Shining Dragon strategy.

Though it is interesting. The God Cards were so powerful that capturing their likeness in card form literally _killed_ anyone who tried. Pegasus was only protected due to the Millennium Eye. But knowing their danger, he had them hidden away so that no one would ever use them. I guess he figured that it would help to have a contingency plan in case someone ever did steal the God Cards.
But even still, the Shining Dragon is no guaranteed win; with its effect, right off the bat it has the potential to be more powerful than Obelisk, but Slifer and Ra might be more tricky. It would depend on how many dragon cards the user has in their graveyard; given its summon conditions, there would already be four in the grave, meaning it would be at least 4200. With Slifer, he'd need to ensure that his opponent had less than 5 cards in their hand. And Ra is probably too much of a wild card to consider.
