I think its good idea apple included the NFC payment in their iPhone, it would help other vendors to start accepting NFC payments, which means, Android's NFC will final become more intuitive thanks to apple.

At least now since apple has a pretty large fan base it will probably help bring touch less payment mainstream and to the masses apple always have had a nack for making old tech appeal new and interesting to the average consumer

Is this a blatant copy of Google Wallet ? Yes. But the thing is now that NFC is in iPhone, there will be even more products and markets we can use it with.
