DSR did really make me into a better player, it's really fun until you meet players who couldn't even stand still and face east/west during nidhogg for like weeks, i mean have 1 job

you can tell that the xiv devs are really struggling for manpower lol. the patch cycles have been extended and yet they aren't able to deliver on quality patches. it's an open secret at this point

my biggest fear is that the manpower that was taken away for ff16 won't be put back into ff14 and square enix will just go 'oh you can survive with only a skeleton crew working on ff14? ok then we're going to keep doing that'

I refuse to believe that they actually tested TOP in any legit way. But seeing as TOP was a disaster, the relic weapons steps are a joke, variant dungeon is useless, raids is still locked, alliance gear is useless and tons of other QoL things are still not fixed i am starting to believe that a lot of people working on FF14 don't actually play the game.

I didn't find top that bad. It was just brutal for the early clearers. The strats are mapped out now. You don't even need AM to do them, it doesn't really add much benefit. To me it felt easier than DSR and is an enjoyable fight, though DSR is still more fun.

i keep saying endwalker has been the biggest let down ever in term of content and thats to the point i went back to play WoW and i play ff14 since its release thats how bad it got

FFXIV is getting the BfA/Shadowlands treatment.

Legion did so well despite rocky parts, the follow up expansions had some right old shit in them and just weren't that great.

Shadowbringers was phenomenal and the follow up expansion has been so, so with not much else going for it
