The hardware is not the issue with the iPad lineup. Apple needs to deliver on the software side. If they don’t, then there is no point in getting a new iPad, especially seeing how expensive they’ve gotten.

What’s the screen like? Is it good on the eyes? I haven’t heard a SINGLE YouTuber talk about if it has DC Dimming or PWM flickering ect

Curious about the nano texture glass. Looks like apple is including a polishing cloth with it. I saw only one other YouTuber mention it could be prone to scratches if you use a regular or other micro fiber cloth. They said this was an issue with another apple product (studio?) that had the same texture. Given the iPad is mobile and touch screen and would have more opportunity for scratches, will the nano texture be more prone to scratches?

All i wanted for YEARS is an iPad Mini with 120hz...why can't apple just give it to us?!

I may upgrade my M1 to the new M4 iPad Pro simply for the OLED screen (I don't think I'd get the nano texture because I'd worry that it could get damaged from using non-Apple microfiber cloths). But I'm going to wait for reviews, and even then it might be a few months or more before actually taking the plunge. It's all so expensive and especially given that a whole new Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil would be needed from what I currently have....just for an OLED display. Probably isn't worth it but looking forward to your thorough reviews when they're in.

I really appreciate the lower weight of the new iPad Pros. My 12.9" M1 iPad Pro is way too heavy for me and I only use it resting on my belly which is annoying. But unless iPadOS 18 significantly opens up what can be done w/ an iPad, and I am not talking about A.I., it will still be an incredibly overpowered media-consumption device to me!

its getting annoying to me how everyone dogs on IOS on the forums and other videos. blah blah ipad is being helb back by ios. compared to what? the surface tablet? ipad is the first of its kind and there is nothing to compare it to. apple has givin devs all the power they need to make apps for the ipad, even YOU as a consumer can make your own apps to take advantage of the power. ios isnt holding back the ipad, the only ppl who compalne make up .01% of the ipad userbase, your average consumer does not care

at 05:49 you can see the iPad and the keyboard. Is it on top? or is it flipped around? so its magnetically attached and just flipped over? that was not possible in the first magic keyboard.

Hey Chris, how about the Nano Texture Screen on the 1 & 2 TB models? Did you notice any difference on the quality on the screen when compared to the non Nano Texture Screen?

and how is the weight on the new Magic Keyboard? its not mentioned in the specs anywhere. Also compared to first edition. The first edition was SUPER heavy. Would be great if it’s less heavy and a better balance.
