“There are two big issues with Ramaswamy. One is: what is his qualification to be president of the United States? And the other is: Can we trust anything he says? And those were the two themes I stuck to,” says Mehdi Hasan on his interview with GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

These types interviews is the reason why mainstream media is dead.

He asks Vivek a question and then interrupts him the whole time and he can barely get a word out, and then they cut the clip. What am I missing?

Mehdi pulling out Vivek's tax returns like it's some secret document like it wasn't he himself who filed them 🤣

So... when do they start demanding Ramaswamy show his birth certificate?

Vivek makes people come to watch msnbc. Medhi has no credential and msnbc bring him to make a match where thefe is no match.

Mainstream media still sticking to this "gotcha" hitjob interviews which adds no real value apart from mudslinging. No wonder podcasts are so much more popular

The title of this video shows everything that’s wrong with American mainstream media.

You don’t “take on” someone in an interview. That’s for a debate.
Interviews are there for journalists to ask questions and let the viewer make up their minds about the answers provided.

Not a debate filled with interruptions and attempted “gotcha” moments.

What an absolute joke.

Mehdi looked like a FOOL in that interview. Because he was so ready to POUNCE on what he thought was a flaw in VR’s past, he didn’t listen to the explanation. September was when the application was filled out and the amount listed was the amount he has made at that time. (3 months later at the END of the year the huge bonus that he received was the amount mehdi is accusing him of not listing in October. How would he list it in October if he didn’t get it until December. As a host sometimes you really need to stop talking and actually listen….

Sounds to me that the Hasen guy doesn't like when people walk over the top of his questions. I didn't see any proof with anything he was saying, did you...

Vivek was smart enough to take the scholarship…. Any 24 year old would take a scholarship of 50k dollars and the scholarship he took was based on meritocracy and it was a scholarship which was not need based….. even these people would have taken the scholarship… people are able to question him because he is okay with answering and coming on to these shows….

It’s not an interview guys. MSNBC, CNN, FOX all fail to realize that people are tired of this “got ya” format. This isn’t journalism. There’s no substance. The podcast interview is a much better format. It’s civil, and you can actual listen to a conversation that doesn’t need to be compressed to sound bites and an interviewer whose being fed talking points in their ear.

Mehdi's face shows the frustration and jealousy he harbors inside his head.

Vivek: "Don't break the law"
CNN: VIVEK SAYS "BREAK THE LAW"
Vivek: you guys are taking it out of context.
CNN: But you literally said those words "Break the law".
Vivek: not true, you are splicing up what I said.
CNN: you lie. You said break the law, word for word.

I like how they didn’t play him defending himself. This is a crime.

mehdi hasan would have loved vivek if his name had been vivek khan, a pakistani-american who came from humble beginnings, became a millionaire and is now a presidential candidate 😂

First time i ever saw someone frustrate hasan in his own game (not letting the guest speak). Nice to see that vile establishment hack eat his own word salad.
