Premiere announcements in my feed are dumb. This one at least made me chuckle. I'll let it slide ;)

I used to work in a golf pro shop. To put new grips on clubs, we would apply thinly padded, double stick tape to the club, fill the grip with gasoline, and slip it over the tape. Once the gas dried, the grip was not coming off without cutting or blowing off with compressed air. I don't think that is a good idea for a bike, though.

I believe the points of contact on your bike are even more important than the points of engagement. My point is, you need to get a good grip, sure footing, and a comfortable place to sit in order to properly ride your bike. Get your contact points right and you are as happy as a lark. Get them wrong and you are as miserable as a turkey on Thanksgiving Day.

Can you shed some light on what makes some grips get disgustingly sticky? I'll explain... Over the years (I'm 58) I have used many brands of grips. Every so often I will find a pair of grips that are fine when they're new but over time they become incredibly sticky to the point where everything sticks to them, dirt, dust and debris. The grip will rapidly deteriorate and start sticking to my hands or gloves. Essentially they become gooey. Oddly enough this happened to one pair of grips and on a second bike the same brand purchased at the same time were fine. Thank you -Rich

At the shops where I worked, in the late 80s, we always used hairspray. What's the down side?

if I had my way all grips would have to be lock on type with the bar end molded on so you cant lose it

24" x 1.85 tires for my Trek bike are pretty uncommon, if not rare. Is it true I can use 24" x 1.75? What alternatives do I have?

I’ve always used WD-40 to put my grips on one spray in each end of the grip and put on the handlebars wait for the WD-40 to evaporate and there rock solid after 👍🚲💨

Установить ESI Grips и вы забудите об этой проблеме.Их и стануть с руля проблема, не то что растянуть.
