hi. I am a 12 yo girl from Europe and recently I've been very insecure about how my friends see me. So I started searching some things that can help me improve my opinion about myself, even though i always had succes at school and performed in piano. I feel down these days and I am happy I found your channel, I can see someone talking in a balanced way about so many problems or prejudices people have and gives me a clue for a solution. Thank you so much💕

I like the following words: "The only thing that is always with you is knowledge. Everything can be taken from you, but not that."

I'm taking a step back here and appreciating that you're presenting being "well educated" as a positive attribute, Anna. In a culture where anti-intellectualism too often takes center stage, it's refreshing and reassuring.

I feel like it’s impossible to be extremely educated regarding everything, therefore being humble, curious and willing to learn is a great advice. People that are passionate about something, normally love to share that passion and knowledge. Learning from someone can be a great bonding and networking experience.
Also, find out what you truly are passionate about and keep your mind open to different things, different experiences and opinions (and this is why critical thinking is sooo important).
Love the video Ana.

Thank you for mentioning the importance of culture and how stimulating it can be. I’m a culture worker myself - im a classical musician. I’m so sad to see mostly old people attending concerts. Maybe classical music is an acquired taste. Or maybe people are just intimidated and afraid they won’t get or like it. I think an appreciation for culture is something that needs to be developed ideally early in life. Parents need to bring their kids to cultural events, give them a taste of it so they may seek it for themselves when they’re adults. I’m not saying a grown up who never entered a hall or a museum is a lost cause - absolutely not. But it’s less likely that going to hear the symphony will come to your mind when thinking of how to spend your Friday night if you never went.
Something I’d add to your already well curated list : learning another language. It’s difficult if you don’t get to practice it to become somewhat fluent of course. But if you can, it’s amazing what it does to your brain! It opens your mind too to discover that other languages are structured differently - and soon your own thoughts get built differently in you mind when speaking that other language. And most importantly it gives you the opportunity to discover people you could never had talked to otherwise - you don’t even need to be that good, confidence and curiosity are key!
Thank you for another great video 🙏

You’re a doll, Anna, and I enjoy your stress on “elegance”. In a world where social proprieties, manners, and putting our best selves forward sometimes seem to be on the wane, your reminders are uplifting and timely. I appreciate your programming immensely. Keep up the good work!

This is probably one of the best videos of Anna that I’ve seen. There are so much invaluable life advice here. I am happy to see Anna’s channel evolve in such positive way.

This is such great advice! I have been a college professor for over 20 years and I wish my students understood this as well as you do. Many people I've encountered assume that being educated is a one-time event (like earning a degree) instead of an active process that must occur on a daily basis. In fact, a degree itself isn't even as important as the mindset and habits you describe in this short video. The information you present here is so valuable. As an educator, I just want to say that I agree with you and strongly encourage others to follow your suggestions.

I love that Anna's elegance philosophy is being a well-rounded amazing human being. Is not just clothing and dressing is also being good from inside out. The best kind of growth!

So good point no. seven! Those of us who had philosophy and logic in school are blessed with critical thinking and analytical skills. I obtained my Ph.D. abroad eight years ago, and I am learning new things every single day. Learning is an ongoing process. Exploring new places, reading books, and new professional information help, too! :)

Expanding your food pallet is another form of "education". Think about it, if your mainly eating your local dishes. In my area it's a lot of beef and corn. Branching out to other authentic foods from around the world shows a side of you that is open to new experiences. Therefore, it is very enriching.

One thing I would add to this is being able to determine valid sources of information (i.e. don't believe everything you read on the internet). Is there a credited author? Is the information associated with a well-known, reputable organization? Are you able to find multiple reputable sources to back up one statement?
