The way Crowley's still dancing around the word "couple" by saying they're a "group of two" and how he cuts himself off in the middle of "and I'd like to spend-" both make me so sad. He had a whole speech prepared and it all went out the window when he realized he was about to lose Aziraphale.

I think Crowley kissed him to try to convince him to stay. He stared at him wondering if it worked. It broke his heart when Aziraphale rejected him.

It’s not “obviously you wouldn’t rejoin hell, *they’re* the bad guys, ” it’s “obviously you wouldn’t rejoin hell, YOU’RE the bad guys”. Ouch, dude. Ouch.

Notice how Crowley's voice breaks when he's about to say "I'd like to spend the rest of eternity with you"
They're both great actors, but these little details make me madly in love with David.
And Crowley.
And this show.

Imagine season three aziraphale breaks down in an apology to crowley and he just replies with, "...do the 'I was wrong dance.'"

For people who want to cry more:

I watched this epsiode in French too... And in the French dub, Crowley doesn't simply calls Aziraphel as "Angel". He calls him "Mon Ange" aka "My angel". Sweet detail, makes the french dialog flow more fluidly... And break my heart even more

Even in the book Crowley was the foundation of their relationship but the series made him the cement, the walls, the roof and the fucking furniture 😂 and then Aziraphale put it on fire

Man, this sense of void after that desperate kiss will haunt me forever. Crowley waited a long time. Before that scene, he was thinking that everything would be fine, that he would talk calmly with Aziraphale. But in two hella seconds he was facing his biggest nightmare. To lose his angel. He acted like there wouldn’t be any “tomorrow”. Deep inside, it feels more like he knew it. That “tomorrow” wouldn’t be happening in a lot of time.

When Crowley says "I would like to and looks away, that breaks me. The acting in this scene by both is fantastic. They got me real good. 💔

My friend and I went from screaming in joy when they kissed to yelling "NO NO NO!" at the screen for the rest of the episode.

i can't explain it but "nothing lasts forever" has the same energy as "it'll pass"
