This new motor runs a lot hotter than my old 318. I noticed that my carburetor was getting so hot is was messing with the idle and would have issues trying to start it back up after driving in stop and go traffic. This $20 fix did the trick.

Just bought my first vintage Charger, 1970, triple black. The car has 235 60 R15's all around, stepping up to 245 60's in front & 275 60's for the rear.

Looks like you could use some new motor mounts

Cool looking car! Wanted to ask did you place the thin gasket on the bottom or top of the insulator? Going to be doing this on my 78 Nova.

Its been a few years since you installed thus insulator. Did it fix the heat soak innthe long run?

Quick question - without the hood scoop, would you have had enough clearance?
