Insane! I just picked up MK recently and last night I cheesed a Steve out of 2 stocks at ledge with using dimensional cape in place.

The first time they did normal getup shield but dropped it before the slash because they thought I had caped away. The second time they did normal getup and then downsmash but the downsmash missed while I was intangible and they died at 95 >:]

I loved the video! I picked up meta knight after watching you for a bit and i was messing around in the lab and i found out that down b can be fully invincible when recovering from above the ledge or at max distance horizontally, so you cant get 2 framed. I dont know how useful it really is just because mk already has such a good recovery.

PeaS: I think a really cool change to make Galacta Knight a lot more interesting as a character would be to make dimensional cape his new dodge, and replace Dimensional Cape with Galactic counter or Blade Beam as his new down b. Having air dodges is kinda unnecessary on MK who already has good air movement and cape. Plus, he'd have a unique trait to him in that dodge attack, like Terry.

A few more tips for new MK players with this move.
1) mix up where you drift sometimes straight down or away is the best option
2) mix up spot dodge, down tilt, etc out of d-cape
3) some moves you can Dcape thru to get a punish: ex: mythria side B, robin side B, charge shot
4) you can down B in place to see how people react and play around that accordingly

Yea, MK Down-B is kinda like Mewtwo Up-B, but with an optional hitbox at the end. Very good move, very good video 👍

It’s also a potential platform option if you’re opponent is below you. From anywhere on the plat, down b then go up and quickly half circle to down

Ok, so when I do mk down b at ledge, I would drop down and hold up b afterward in order to land the slash at the ledge

down B is really busted, especially on a character like Meta Knight. its not that good for killing, at least by my experience, due to the high risk with how much endlag it has, but using it as a movement option is really good

I really wish that he doesn't always give the audio cue that he is doing th dimensional cape sometimes. Like instead say it after he appears with the slash. The human ear will react to audio quicker that something that they can see.
