Alzeimers related: 1) soft drinks 2) French Fry aka potatoes 3) bread and butter And in addition, regular rolled oats can impact your insulin level but not the Steel Cut Oats variety. Sheesh! Plus Salt on your French Fry increases thenegative impact on your system. Think Im just going to stop eating. 😊

Avoid processed foods completely is a start. Also when you eat carbs matters. Bread and butter at 6pm, with a salad, better than bread butter and jam for breakfast. And home made 4 ingredient bread(flour, yeast, salt, water) is always going to be far far better than a plastic covered processed bread with a massive list of ingredients from the supermarket.

I'd love more information about his collaboration between Bredesen and Johnson. Excellent post.

Growing up as a child in Jamaica in the 80s and early 90s Alzheimers, obesity, cancers, and cardiovascular diseases were not common . The elderly were considered wise with great brain functions. People ate a lot of sugars /wet sugar, molasses, and a lot of starches ( yams, potatoes, green bananas, coco, cassava and tons of bread with avocado or butter) just to name a few. Meat was a luxury. Fast food was a luxury. You probably only had meat 3 to 4 times a week, not for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, like nowadays.
There's probably more pesticides in the environment, but the only massive diet change is a massively higher consumption of meats/animals products.
Now Jamaica has the same problems as everywhere else.

I live inside my body and I think. I am thought. Thought is spirit, spirit is thought. My spirit and how it works is what is keeping my body healthy.

Pure butter is now part of my diet, together with Extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil.
But my butter is NOT from the US. My dairy products are from Australian grass-fed cattle. Sometimes Scandinavian products. I know the source and read the fine print on the products.

Dr Caldwell Esselstyn tells us to eat 2 to 4 bowls of oatmeal a day. Dr John McDougall tells us to live on primarily on starch. How does the average person figure this out? For the record I believe in what the guests that Max has on his channel have to say

My mum loved sweets all her life and was clear in her head until she died at age above 94.
And she had lots of carbs too and never suffered from diabetes.

The explanation of why we get Alzheimer’s diseases was very good but a person like me who had no idea of highly technical medical terms was hard to absorb in to my brain. Thanks
