Your BUYING and USING Milwaukee M18 Batteries ALL WRONG! (stop doing this)

I mean… Why “click bait” the title Vince? The title should be “Does it matter where you buy your Milwaukee batteries?” I would have watched it either way, but still… A click bait title? You’re better than that man! Just sayin’!

My man is laced up in Milwaukee merch from head to toe. Probably has on Milwaukee socks and takes Milwaukee gummy vitamins too. But still can't drill through that piece of wood consistently.

A hole that big needs to be on speed 1. I repair power tools and when I see gears broken, this is why

This video is click bait. Don’t turn into a hack.

One thing I would have done when drilling a hole that large in diameter is to go on Low Speed, this will give more torque, less rpm. I think that would have allowed all batteries to drill through the 2x material. JMO.

It’s not the battery, in some instances you’re activating the auto stop feature in the drill! That’s why it immediately stops, it’s supposed to! Keeps your arm from being ripped off!

It's not the battery it's not the drill it's the wrong speed

You had me worried for a minute cause I’ve got quite a few promotional 5.0 Milwaukee batteries. But now my mind is at ease, plus I have the fuel tools I’ve always wanted. Which is a milestone to me!!!

I went to the depot and got them to match competition price from Northern Tool on 3.0 HO cp battery two pack which Northern was selling for $99 and Depot had for $179.00.. best day I had at Depot ever.

I just completely switched to Milwaukee in the last 3 weeks. No restocking fees at the Home Depot unlike Acme and Ohio Power. Love the deals that Home Depot has been running.

Well, don’t mean to disrespect you sir but amp hour size means how long the battery last, not that it’s more powerful. Secondly you should be running that drill in low when using a bit that large

Possibly does the new gen 4 drill have a kickout feature where it shuts out so you dont twist your arm/wrist?

Had me worried with that title... but reassured what I thought previously, I have a hard time believing Milwaukee would spend the time/money to make a cheaper version to offer for these sales/"bonus" kits.

Cordless battery deals don't mean the batteries you get will be worse. It just means those sales are "loss" leaders to get you into the platform or more heavily invested in it.

I used quotations because I'm sure most manufacturers still make a mint profit off their battery "sales".

The new drills have a safety feature to prevent you from hurting your wrist. To turn it off you have to put the direction button in the middle and hit the trigger 4x think.

Hey Vince! Nothing to do with this video but give everyone a heads up about A HUMONGOUS GIGANTIC SALE of the century. I was at Home Depot last night (West Branch, Michigan) and 90% of their Spax screws in all sizes are marked down about 75%. You need pics, I got em. It's crazy. I grabbed a Homer bucket that happened to be right next to the shelf and started to fill the bucket with what I use the most and then some randomly. I walked out the door with 14 - 1lb. Boxes for $78. All of the $14.40 boxes are only $3.73 and the $18 boxes are $4.83 . They might be having contract issues as Spax screws were always more expensive than GRK. Their clearing that whole shelf section. Maybe you've already heard. Let us know when you do. Thank you VCG

You had me worried with that headline….buy em where ever the price is right and where ever is most convenient for you! Except for True Value, I got screwed over 1 too many times at the place with the friendly hardware folks! Never again!!

The batteries are not the problem; looks like you are using the incorrect speed setting on the drill. Also, the tool is not in hammer mode... when not it hammer mode, the low-speed (high-torque) setting needs to be used.
