Don't be fooled by Milwaukee batteries, be fooled by VCG's 25 minute videos where the title's question is answered one single time around the 23rd minute

I'm OK with whichever one comes free with the tool

The way it was explained at pipeline is the forge outputs more power, charges faster and has a greater longevity than the regular H.O 6.0. I deff can feel a power diff between both, + the forge is lighter . I use them mainly on my SDS and saws. However if I’m just trying to use my fan or a light I’ll just throw on the regular H.O. 6.0

I got a 12.0 forge and came with a 8.0 forge for $300 of the tool truck felt like it was a good deal and that 12.0 makes the 1/2 impact way better specially in the Honda crank bolt

Thank you for this I was wondering about it ever since they dropped the prices on the old ones!!!

I think a big reason behind the disparity of cycle count is actual BMS on the forge where it's actually balancing versus the old style that don't do any balancing whatsoever

jokes on you I referbish battery cells, usually 18650s. I have saved an INSANE amount of money. fun hobby too

Lithium ion only works one way. If you output more current, you get less cycles. If you output less current, you get more cycles. The Forge isnt a free lunch

Dewalt released a new battery while watching this video 😂

They're $199 in my area. Shit costs as much as the tool. That's not even with a charger.

Fantastic BOGO deals out there right now! But yes why don't they give us a rated cycles number!! I did notice they have a 3 year warranty which is quite nice

Does hold true for the tab-less forge batteries (8ah and 12ah)? I can't find any cycle ratings online for any Milwaukee batteries??

Jamas eh tenido la suerte de tener una batería que no recargue. Porque siempre me roban las herramientas y vuelvo a comprar nuevas.😅

My 6.0 AH battery does 144WH. I don't know about life cycles though

3x the charge cycles = 3x the eyewear!
(Maybe he has his contacts in as well?)
Go get ‘em Vince! Slap on another pair of glasses and disseminate that info! 🤓
