Thanks for the tip regarding setting the AP speed to the current sped limit. I have been pressing the speed limit "sign" on the screen to accomplish that, which doesn't always work first time if the road is uneven and jostles your finger. Holding down the stalk allows you to keep your eyes on the road. Excellent tip.

2023 model Y Long Range Austin Built and absolutely love it. It's only gotten better over time. Zero radar, zero ultrasonic sensors and vision only FSD.

This video has been so helpful to me. I am looking to buy a Model Y and needed some more real world information about it from someone who owns one. I was also going to get the white interior and, I agree about the woodgrain. It's a bit misplaced in such a modern looking car. I have that drink bottle too and I've taken note of that accessory. Thanks for the ideas for the third party add-ons.

Took delivery of our Y last Tuesday and so far I've "driven" it from inside the building to outside. Where it was met by a covered trailer and taken straight to a PPF shop and it's still there.
In 2015 we had a little Leaf and on our first evening, got hit by a large stone which left a big chip so I'm marred by that experience.

The rear windows are 'privacy' glass. Not tinted, but dyed. They have no IR heat or UV protection, despite looking tinted. I had a 3rd party ceramic tint done recently for all the side and back windows (didn't bother with the roof which is actually tinted). I used the darkest legal tint in Australia for driver and passenger, and a clear ceramic tint for the back passenger and boot windows. Looks great and a noticeable improvement in keeping the car cool in sunny Newy.

Auto highbeam control works fine when getting to low, but it takes ages to go back to high! Room for imrovement there still!

Yes Ryan! My partner and I have those same Frank Green Drink bottles and I’ve always hated them rolling around our Model Y’s. Definitely investing in those Willy & Bear! Legend.
