The salt and ice technique works great but the final step is to plug the Sink, then fill with water to the brim...pull the plug and let the water "flood" the chamber. All the little bits will be flushed out! 🙂

Sir I don't know if you will really respond to this but my adopted dog chewed our bed cord AGAIN after my ex (who I live with and doesn't like dogs) fixed it the first time. I can't get the disconnected cord where she chewed to reach the other side. Idk what to do but he is going to be very very mad when he gets home. I pray you see this soon so maybe you can help me out to find a solution. What I'm hoping is I can have a solution to say and that I'll fix it

My disposal only passes water when it's running. When running it works fine. No backup. Waste goes down fast. It just won't drain when off. I tried Drano. Nope. Let it sit for 2 days. Nope. I'm out of ideas.
