Robert Telles testified in his own defense during his murder trial in Las Vegas, Nevada this week. Telles, a former county administrator who oversaw probate issues, was allegedly angry with investigative journalist Jeff German for writing articles that portrayed Telles negatively. Telles claims he was framed. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber analyzes wild claims made by Telles on the stand and how the prosecution responded.

Telles’ case boils down to his credibility. “I didn’t/wouldn’t/couldn’t do this”. He has no explanation for any of the physical evidence against him. We’re just supposed to trust him. Crazy.
