Given what we know, and what's been alleged about his personality, this comes as no surprise. Thinks he knows all and best. Thinks he can do a better job.

Ive lived in Vegas 51 years. Jeff German was well respected journalist for long time. They got this guy dead to rights with alot of evidence. Hes had some legal issues in past. Oh and hes also on camera cheating on his wife with an employee. Back seat of a car no less. This guy is a piece of work.

Did he NOT see what happened to Darrell Brooks when he represented himself? Wait, maybe that’s the point, these psychos are something else!

Judge Leavitt is a godess. You go, girl. The evidence against Telles is extremely strong. DNA under the victim's nails, the video, the pictures of his wife's car on scene, all his texts and emails, his social media posts. Representing himself is bizarre.

Would love to know how often a self-represented defendant gets a not guilty verdict.

Can he represent himself, and then, after he loses, argue "ineffective counsel"?

You can guarantee that the lawyers at the prosecutor's table were literally stiffeling their laughter at how incompetent this lawyer actually is as he doesn't practice criminal law so why would anyone defend themselves when they don't even practice the type of law he needs for a basic run of the mill charge of maybe disturbing the peace but when you have a murder charge hanging over you you surely would hire the best criminal lawyer you could find. Its like a surgeon saying he/she will do surgery upon themselves even though the surgery that's required requires that the patient is put under a general anaesthetic so would want to do the surgery while hlbeing unconscious.Ralk about an inflated ego.

Oh lawd here we go again smh. And I can't wait these trials are always the best one's. It's like watching a bird with weights on jumping off a roof trying to fly, they're trying to flap their wings as hard as they can. But in the in end you know their going nowhere but down
