I watched this documentary.
He was eaten by a bear along with his girlfriend. They killed the bear to get their remains out of the bear. He said he was out there protecting bears but yet he caused ones death along with himself and girlfriend.

According to a documentary he had visited that area for at least twelve times before. But in his last expedition he came in late and almost all the bears he knew and that knew him were already in hibernation. There were new bears in the area though including the killer bear.

He had seen the rogue bear and told his girlfriend he was uncomfortable around this bear. After prepping his video camera he laid it on the table but forgot to turn it off. The attack was captured on audio and part of it was played in the documentary -- the part where his girlfriend was frantically telling him to fight back as the bear sunk its teeth while he was screaming horribly.

The man was crazy. He thought that he was speaking to the bears and they can understand him. He camped on a crossroad of bear paths, he and his girlfriend.I have seen some videos of big mammals being eaten alive by bears, it's very sad. I don't think they did something so evil, to deserve this end...I don't want to imagine the agony of his girlfriend, who was eaten last, after his horrible death...

Getting killed by a bear is devastating...they literally just start eating and chewing u up while your still alive..they don't even look to kill u first like lions tigers do

There's a documentary on this. He went out there his whole life. Took his girlfriend for the first time. Had a big fight. Went back to the airport to fly home and couldn't get tickets or something. So he forced the girlfriend to stay out there with him and the bears. The bears that he knew for years had gone into hibernation and a different set of bears he didn't know were there. He left a video camera on and they recorded him being eaten alive by a bear. He was screaming for his girlfriend to run but she wouldn't leave him and attacked it with a saucepan. It turned on her and ate them both. Sad story. But the guy was a complete nutter. Was bound to happen. Good documentary I recommend it.

The audio of this incident is truly horrifying. The screams of agony coming from him as he was being swallowed alive is just…You can even hear his bones being broken. ☹️
