For Sony cameras with IBIS make sure you're in cleaning mode so the IBIS is locked. Have the camera sensor pointing down when blowing the dust out before cleaning. Don't be afraid, your sensor is covered with glass, just don't push it like you're pissed at the camera. Firm enough pressure for the swab handle to bend slightly. You don't need to use a second dry swab either. Just one sweep on each side of one, repeat if necessary.

Is the camera turned off or on? I’ve watched many tutorials and a couple videos said have it turned on, but that doesn’t feel right? It’s an A7iii that I’m have.

I have been cleaning mine with the solution and did the right steps and I always see residue from brushing the sensor. It doesn’t appear in any of my pictures but it bothers me when I actually look at the bare sensor… is that normal ?

Just a note that this ONLY works if your camera doesn’t have IBIS. If you do this with an IBIS camera, you could actually break your camera
