I was in a coma for 3 days due to MRSA in my blood. I was told that when I was waking up I yelled, "WHO IS THAT SCREAMING? TELL THEM TO SHUT UP" The nurse responded with, "THAT WAS YOU MY DEAR." I just remember saying OH DAMN, I"M SORRY. Then I looked over and saw my 3 grown sons looking at me with shock on their faces. Apparently they had gathered thinking I was going to die but instead I sat up yelling. That was a long recovery though.

I was in a car accident in 1994, had a head injury & was flown from local ER to an advanced trauma unit. I wasn't in a true "coma" more of a stupor. I was told I answered the ER Doctors questions about meds, prior injuries, etc., don't remember that at all. Remember a man's voice telling me "We're going for a ride on a helicopter" and the sound of the engine & rotors. I really had no dreams while in the trauma unit for about 2 weeks. What I do remember (and I'm not a Church goer or particularly "religious" though I believed in God/Jesus/Holy Spirit), but what I do remember is a warm, safe feeling, like being held my Mom or Dad when I was sick as a child. Very comforting. I still don't attend Church or follow any particular religion, but I'm more certain since then that God is real.

I was in a coma for 4 weeks. I dreamed the whole time, and when I woke up, I started having prophetic dreams and feelings. Also, when I first woke up, I was heavily hallucinating, and saw and talked to many people who weren't there.

"Hi, I've been in a bad car accident but I'm ok and I wanted to get checked out."
The best thing ever.

Had a serious infection after knee surgery. Ended up on a medically induced coma for 30 days because they didn’t want me moving around and raising my heart rate to spread it further. At one point I remember them telling my parents I would probably lose my leg. At another point that they thought I might die. But the weird dream is that while I was in isolation everyone had to be in full suits head to shoe covers who came into the room. They were yellow. I dreamed there were giant baby ducks pecking at me, grabbing my leg, changing my IV, apparently anything they did that might be uncomfortable. And biting my head. My family says I would mumble “ducks... ducks” I was being abused by a nurse during the night when no one was around as well. I only remember being scared when I heard his voice. My sister had left her purse and came back for it and walked in on him.

There's this one story I heard about a man who was comatose who dreamt he had kids and spent 10 years within the dream. By the time he woke up, it had been far less time than he thought, and he fell into depression after learning none of it was real.

Hope, they really have dreams. Otherwise of it could be so boring... 👀

Hmmm...
People fighting over good and evil in a dream _actually _*_sounds_* like it'll be turned into an anime.

Fall asleep with the tv on. That is what it feels like sort of. Most likely you’ll dream about certain parts of whatever is on.

I'm glad I watched to the end. That last story got me good. Inmates deserve some decency too. I'm glad OP was able to be a human.

Yep, had my own coma experience that put all these to shame.
Not that it's a contest but these are tame as hell.

Mine was medically induced after surgery. I can't really remember much, apart from my tubes coming out and constantly wondering why no one would let the cat in, and why were there bunnies on my bed?. There's so many weird "dreams"

Some of these stories need to be turned into psychological horror or adventure games
