i used to be ok with jeff bezos until i found out he made a homeless shelter for his own employees. like PAY THEM MORE! also, i'm an uber driver who sometimes picks up amazon warehouse workers after their shift is over. almost all of them seem to have the life taken out of them. i ask them if they enjoy working at amazon or is it bad? they usually say it's ok if you like walking but i can always hear the disgruntlement in their voice. there was only one amazon worker who seemed ok with his shift and i asked him why he was in a positive mood when i mostly got amazon workers in a negative mood. he literally said "i was treated worse in my last job". (he worked for a grocery store that was poorly managed).

With all due respect donations to GiveWell and other types of charity which exists around the world will do very little or nothing to alleviate hunger and poverty world wide. The truth is that more and more people suffering from poverty and hunger will continue to as long as conflicts created by your country the US and western Europe through wars, economic sanctions, climate change, fosil fuel environmental pollutions keep cropping up. Any wonder why Elon Musk believes world hunger can not be solved with $6billion donations. He is right...

I don't know about Bezos but Elon Musk is definitely the closest guy to Tony stark in the real world.

The point is that both of them are providing jobs, SpaceX did that NASA couldn't or never cared to do. Amazon (atleast in my country) pays pretty handsome amount to its devs, infact awesome amount to its devs. Lastly, if I feel that amazon is causing trouble, I'd resign & move to another firm/company. That's the beauty of having options.
