Ok then... tell me some of the most difficult problems you worked on and how you solved them? :)

I loved an answer Elon gave during an interview once. He was asked a question concerning his personal drive & ambition etc. Elon replied “I just want to know the truth.” 🤩

Elon is that one question on the math test where it asks you to show your work.

People attempting to answer questions without relevant information will simply deflect to answering a different question.
You see politicians doing this in every interview.

Every interviewee should practice answering that question. It’s actually a common question.

When I worked at Kodak in the 80's repairing camera that came off the line, my manager told us all to keep notes on how we did it. Eventually he collected all the notes and wrote a book of repairs. He got a big bonus for this. I never saw him repair even one camera.

In other words muscle memory. Know thyself. Do it until it is like going home. Method to learning fast like a feedback system it may seem chaotic but solved many intractable problems with little to no background and training.
1.Preview outline and appreciate the significance. Break the outline into sub outlines/sections.
2.preview each item in the outline list.
3.Go to understanding the principles in each item. Don't worry about memorizing while trying to understand.
4.Mental self-assessment. How much do you remember of all the principles and how many did you forget or foggy on.
5. Identify each topic you forgot while trying to understand and read again.
6.immediate mental self assessment after reading again.
7. Reinforcement: read more than at least one book. Watch tutorial videos on even though you read.
8.Appreciate, find areas of interest, applications and inter topical connection.

During the pandemic, I had only 10 beers in my fridge on Friday night, but my country didn't allow us to go to the store until Monday, so I needed to drink only three beers per day. It was horrible.

My dad taught me well if I am in a room with no door or window - I make one.

When I was 2 to 3 levels behind the ceo of a fortune 50 company everything was my responsibility. But I will never forget one of the hardest things I ever faced was to tell a really nice hard worker about his hygiene and his odor. I have had commercial costumers yelled at my face I have had disgruntled employees wrecking the whole office. But that moment with this guy I stumped and I had to just be straight forwards and tell it like it is. I felt bad always start with positive feedback about his working ethic because he was great. But then I had to give the blow. To my luck he took it very well and opened up he was homeless because of an addiction. We collected money and gave him clothe for a week and hygiene products. He never came back smelling.

Brilliant. I wish I could ask some of the managers I’ve worked with this question!

The "significant achievement" interview is highly uncommon and incredibly useful. Most employers have no idea how to interview people.

Ppl take the credit for what someone else did for so so long, they climb to the top, and the company suffers because they picked a manipulator, a salesman, a politician

So basically what every interviewer on Planet Earth asks you.

That question was asked in the movie Working Girl

It is sometimes hard to hire good people for a job by just questioning them though.

Elon is going to need that interview question a lot here soon.
