In todays tutorial I show you how to simply and easily sync your local files on spotify with your mobile device so you can listen to songs that are not in spotifys library wherever you go!

NOTE:
There are a lot of issues with syncing local files on spotify from your desktop to your phone. Some possible troubleshooting you can do is try a new wifi network, mobile hotspot, uninstall and reinstall spotify, disable your firewall or allow spotify to go through it.

it says download instead of available offline and when I download the songs, it does not include the local files and I still cannot listen to them.

If firewall doesn't work try this (worked for me):
1)Make sure the download button is green on your computer
2)Go onto playback settings on your phone and enter "offline" mode
3)Close the app and reopen it (on your phone still)
4)Go back to the playback settings and uncheck "offline" mode and your songs should start downloading again

Can you make a 2022 update? some of the options you show are not available now or it has been moved. The PC Spotify app looks totally different from the one in the video.

For some reason, the Playlist works fine on my PC but they are unplayable in my phone. The song titles are dark and it won't download

I don't see "available offline" on either phone or Windows PC. I created playlists on my PC, and filled them with local files, and my phone shows the new playlists, but they're empty.

late to the spotify party but i stumbled upon a work around for this...albeit being annoying...what worked for me was
1.Creating a folder for the songs i wanted on spotify
2. put it into my phone via itunes sync
3. going to preferences in spotify
4.selecting said folder
5.putting music into playlists
...only then did they download for me...hope this works for anyone else...

the songs doesn't show up at all on my phone. it says the playlist with the local files is empty. it doesn't make any sense. The songs can be played on my computer though, but not on my phone. they aren't on my phone at all

Sadly for me, although I am Spotify premium, my "Available Offline Button' just isn't there under the 'Followers'. I minimised the 'friends' section, but no joy. How annoying. I have reinstalled as well. No difference.

I finally found a way if the songs don’t show up and u tried every way. Go to ur Spotify settings on ur phone go all the way Down to local data and turn the sync on there

the songs from the local files which i added to a playlist are greyed out and cant play from my phone...
