I met my gorgeous wife in ica. We have been married 19 years. I feel blessed. Every time I go to Peru the hospitality of Peruvians is amazing. One thing I would highly recommend is flying over the nazca lines !!

For the altitude sickness we are drinking Muna Tea and Coco Leaf tea and even sometimes Stuffing the actual coco leaf in my mouth which helps with the altitude. We're in Peru now and starting our Peru series. Such an incredible place.

Huayna Picchu is a MUST!
I'd stay in Aguas Calientes overnight and hike up to Machu Picchu and arrive at the gate at opening time to catch the sunrise!
And...altitude sickness is the real deal. I was super lucky and didn't experience it, but man oh man was my bf (born in Lima) COCA TEA/leaves!
