Recently returned from 2 weeks in Peru and thought your video was spot on. Agreed with 100% of what you said. Great photos as well. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute in Peru. It was fun to relive our trip through your video.

I’m from Peru and l love how you explained my country. Well done. I’m saving this video for my husband who’s never gone to Peru.

Glad to see travel information on Peru, but, if I have to be honest, there's a million videos covering Lima, Cusco, and Machu Picchu. I'd recommend heading to the Northern part of the country and discovering the part that is less "touristy"

Thank you so much for all the information. I will be going to Cusco in October 🎉

I just got back from Peru, loved every minute of it.
I didn’t feel unsafe at any moment if I’m being honest, but maybe because I stayed in “tourist” areas 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ceviche IS the national dish of Peru… it ORIGINATED there…as evidenced by relics and history there. UNESCO even awarded Peru for its ceviche… and that’s basically letting you know they did their proper research and acknowledging Peru as its birthplace.

would love to know if Arequipa still has some traceable evidences of Gauguin's maternal family connections.

Going to Peru in two weeks; have a DSLR I’m taking but may consider the iPhone attachments you mentioned. unfortunately we could get tickets only for circuit 3 and circuit 1 bcoz circuit 2 was sold out. Most sites/videos don’t mention that there are diff circuits. Also, one MUST carry their passports with them to Macchu Picchu. You cannot leave them at the hotel, it’s impt to mention that imho. Wrt to train, it’s worth paying a little extra to get Vistadome train tickets to get beautiful views. One way vistadome, one way regular train would save some money as well.

For any of you planning a trip to Peru, I would advise you to put Cocachimba on your list. I am more than happy to assist with questions of that area since I've been there numerous times

Not just home of thr incan capital.
Lima was the Capital of The Spanish Viceroyalty of Peru which began in what is now Panama and ended in what is now Chile and West to What is now Argentina.
Much later, other vice-royalties popped up.

Did you stay overnight at Aqua Caliente for your early bus ride to the site? How long did you stay in Machu Picchu? From the site, going down, was there a bus waiting for your ride back to Aqua Caliente? Were you back in Cusco of the same day?

Hi I’m a subscriber and have a question. From Aguas Calientes, the bus to Macchu Picchu ends at a specific dropoff location. Not understanding about the hike down or hike up option. Could please elaborate.
How much distance and time to walk to Macchu Picchu from the bus drop off? Walk down or walk up.
Appreciate your help as we are in the early stages of planning.
Thanks

Nice video. Arequipa is in the south east not south west of Peru. What about quinoa in the local Andean diet?

In your opinion, staying in Lima Peru and not going to macho puchu would be a good enough Peru trip if you don’t have a lot of money and time to travel?

Only correction is that Peru was never a colony it was a Viceroyalty of Spain, with a Viceroy.
