Hi Nina and good morning to you. Just a thought but have you ever tried to clean and polish the leaves with a little salad cream??
it works wonders and doesn't harm the photosynthesis. Give it a try on one of the cattleyas you'll be amazed at the result. Enjoyed the video as usual.

I need to do this, been so busy I’ve been putting it off 🙄
I try to clean the leaves at least once a month but it’s been longer at this point. Since I grow indoors they get quite dusty as they don’t get sprayed or rained on.
That’s amazing root growth in just two months!
