As an INFJ I can definitely relate to being in denial whilst getting lost. Helps me keep myself from freaking out... not. I think my inner reactions are always worse than the actual situation, while the external ones are clearly calmer.

As an INTP, I can say this literally happened to me two months ago. The problem occurred when I eventually had to tell them, 40 minutes after I was supposed to arrive, that I couldn’t find where I was supposed to go and also had car trouble that further precluded me from arriving even with better directions. They decided to scrap their plans and come meet me at my location. An hour long meet up at the park turned into an all day hangout at my house. An absolute tragedy.
