Loosely related to facepulls, there is a similar motion my friend showed me that helps with the rotator cuff. In this case you actually keep the cable set at just above waist height while still using the rope handles. For one rep you pull to just at your shoulders like a facepull, then rotate up til your hands are at the side of your head, then push up. Reverse that entire motion to complete the rep. I at least use this as a warmup for my rotator cuff on push days.

This is SO much better than the facial expressions thing. Idk why some of those i had SUCH a hard time understanding. This actually CORRECTS the bad technique with showing you the right one!
