The first one is better if you just do a full rep instead of that half rep.

You can even see the isolation on the rear delts on the first one.

Bro doesn't know basic biomechanics. No, the rear delts doesn't do scapular retraction. Maybe some external rotation, but it mostly does shoulder extension, especially at a straight fiber alignment from its attachment to the scapula. That means a 45 degree flare during scapular depression and at about a 90-degree flare during scapular rotation.
