I hate the idea of these 6 month courses that charge an arm and a leg, but this instructor here is seriously legit, I’ve welded for 5 years all over the country, averaging $130k a year ish. This dude teaches to the degree necessary in every way to turn someone into a successful welder. I’ve taught a couple people on my own time and on the job, this is exactly how I teach, we need more instructors like him!

I’m glad you stay on people welding with both hands I got in the bad habit of welding right handed because I could, my last job I mig and tig aluminum tank trailers and horizontal, vertical, overhead both hands i wish I would have started learning both from the beginning

I went to OTC for welding. I learned a lot from that experience, but Teach is a blessing that shouldn't be taken for granted. Keep on keepin on.

As a fabricator building and rebuilding as well as repairing commercial compactors and bailers , 6010 5P+ is the go-to rod for welding through dirt, grease, paint when I can clean and prep I use 7018 .

I love the smell of 6010, a root pass is the best test for clean weld in prep for the xray 7018 or mig. 6010 still old school go to rod

My only complaint with MWI when i went there was that there was no instructor that really knew how to weld aluminum and it wasn't taught.

Not a welder here but I am a mechanical contractor and I absolutely love seeing these young hands getting into a good trade and actually applying themselves. Young guys take notes here and think about your future....

I've only welded left handed a handful of times. Surprisingly it worked out just fine. I should practice it more. I'm a mechanic though, not a welder.
