Never believe any study, paper, survey etc without checking out who did it and who funded it!

I’m 75 years old, I fasted between 14 to 18 everyday. My biggest first meal is in morning and smaller meals in the evening. I don’t feel hungry that’s why I don’t eat. I also don’t take any meds for anything. I walked two to 10 miles daily and know what my body needs and rest when it needed.

I've been doing intermittent fasting (with keto) for about 4 years. I do around 20-22 hours per day fasting, not too strict in weekends. Yes, you guessed, I died from heart failure, this message was sent from the afterlife.

People are getting healthier with fasting.

The Bible literally lets you know how important it is to fast. The benefits to fasting is absolutely amazing 🎉✝️

I call BS when I first heard this. I’ve been eating within an 8-9 hour window all my life, that’s just part of culture. At 72 never been sick a day in my life, no health issues, no meds, and doing just fine. Somebody got grant money to conduct a study and had to publish something to be able to keep being funded.

Thank you!! I'm so sick of "STUDIES" funded by some "special interest group" and the validity of their data!!!

I do a water fast 4-5 times per year. I do between 72-90 hours. My health has never been better. I had a scc that resolved two weeks after a fast, and the health benefits are clear. My immune system functions well, and despite numerous exposure to a certain virus over the past 4 years, i have had no problems. Well done Dr Boz for your critical and valued view of this headline.

I have been seeing an increasing amount of negative commenters on
the fasting channels lately. Suspicious.

The researchers must be heavily invested in fast food supply. or pharmaceuticals. or the media. Thanks Doc. I take a beating about the DANGERS of carnivore and OMAD. 63 and better health now than the last 30 years.

Since intermittent fasting is popular they said we can use this as this week's reason for early deaths and heart problems.

Since turning 40 I have been following intermittent fasting, it is a huge reason I have been able to maintain my weight. The last several months I have included longer fasts, 24, 48 & 72 hours. I have stayed healthy while others around me have dealt with colds or the flu. My bloodwork is always in the healthy range. As soon as I heard about this study I was skeptical. I have found that if the “supposed” doctors oppose it, then it probably means I should be doing it!

This is what the FLCCC Alliance call “science by press release.” When you dig deeper, you learn that this was in fact not a full peer-reviewed study, but self-reported data with confounding variables and findings the author himself said were not ‘definitive.’

When I saw this headline, I thought "the food industry is now trying to scare people into eating by saying that not eating is bad for you". What is this world coming to?

Intermittent fasting changed my life...thanks for this doc!

Technically, everyone dies from "heart failure" or "cardiovascular death." Your heart absolutely must stop for you to die!

The fact that AHA rushed to publish this baseless study tells us everything we need to know. They're terrified of their empire, built on lies for years, collapsing. Kudos to you and people like Dr. Jason Fung for empowering humanity with such powerful knowledge.
