You are life savior. I accidentally dipped my phone into water and screen touch is no longer working. As you suggested, I plugged in a dongle which has usb input, and plugged in keyboard. Viola, keyboard controlling the screen worked!!

Thank you so much! You saved my data. I couldn't get smart switch to work because I couldn't get in to my old phone. The screen was so broken it would only turn on when it was charging. I literally have it sitting on a charging pad, and plugged in to my mouse so I can click what I need to click on this end for the smart switch

Wow you just gave me the greatest idea! I was so sad when my phones screen broke and i couldn't use it😔. Didnt know all i had to do was to unlock my phone and go to the settings and turn on usb debugging and finally be able to access my phone with a mouse since my screen doesn't work lol😱😱😱
