New study suggests UV lights at nail salons could cause cancer

A new study from UC San Diego suggests that UV ray machines to cure gel nails could cause cell death and DNA mutations which may lead to cancer. Rina Nakano reports.

Make a difference between UV lamp and LED lamp. The study is made on UV lamp, but in saloons are LED lamps. Totally different think. Calm down people!

So they are saying its the light but not the toxic chemical cocktail of the gels themselves that are seeping into the nail bed and into the blood stream. PS, those lights dont harden all of the gel, there are always pockets of completely uncured and unhardened gel trapped right under the hardened coat. Test it out yourselves. Get your gel nails done, then get a dremel or other fake nail/gel polish grinder and remove your newly done nails, . what you will find is your gel nails arent 100% hardened and that your walking around with large pockets of chemicals seeping into your nail bed 24/7.
