Gel manicures are popular because the gel polish lasts longer than traditional nail polish. But, to cure or dry the gel, you need to put your hands under a UV lamp, and researchers say chronic exposure to these devices may raise your cancer risk.

you shd do research on how many nail salon operators get lung cancer etc from breathing in all those toxic fumes from nail products for years!!

I would think that we would get more exposure from everyday sun exposure rather than 150 seconds or less under a UV light manicure dryer on your hands.
