I have an early 2000's version of this Echo. It's a little cold blooded, meaning it doesn't like to run at first, but after it warms up, it's a champ.

I have a brand new pas 225 started fine the first day.But will not start with choke the next day.Only start on run with throttle wide open when cold.After it’s warn it’s fine 1 pull.I am about to return it.

I love my srm 225 echo it is a good one I love it because it’s a light weight weed and it is got a speed feed head so it is easy to put string in

Echos are easy to start and last a long time this is not a commercial for echo the only problem I ever had was gas getting old I use 91 in oklahoma thatsxall we have and red armor oil it burns cleaner than the original echo oil.

Mine won't run without choking it. Even if I have been using it for 30 minutes. What is wrong with it?

I had a echo SRM 225 it only lasted a little bit because the power on it was just not what I was used to.
