The sequence 2:27-2:38 is fascinating. Shane Warne bowls a flipper. Prabhakar doesn't read it and shapes to cut - escapes with a bottom edge. Next time Warne bowls another faster flipper, Prabhakar reads it and plays with a straight bat. Watching on the TV and listening to expert commentators, we used to feel everything was easy. Watching these small tussles now gives some idea of how much skill it takes to be an international cricketer.
Leave aside extraordinary batsmen like Tendulkar, even ordinary ones have to be pretty good to survive at the international level.

After Kapildev, Its Manoj Prabhakar for me . He has great style of swing bowling, but one bad match against Srilanka that causes him lost the place, he suppose to return on Titan cup if i am not wrong.

Manoj was a decent allrounder .. a farcry from today's so called allrounders .. had a decent career .. two sorry performances I could remember .. one was a deliberate slow century that cost an ODI against windies in 1994 and THAT ODI against Sri Lanka which ended his career. Nevertheless a fine swing opening bowler and steady opening batsman. WHISTLE BLOWER of match fixing scandals.
