Less envy of others, more actually being happy for them because the world is abundant and what they are getting isn't coming out of "yours". You focusing on their lives is coming out of "yours".

There’s no envy. But we do think why I’m not as good as them. And we feel smaller and beat ourselves up.

This is massive. I am mentally very strong, but even at Veecon, seeing so much success made it amazing, motivating, but constantly had to remind myself I can make it too.

The logic and emotions part is massive. It’s not facts vs feelings, it’s facts and feelings.

Jealousy and envy seems to be the default emotion in young hungry people these days

And the deeper philosophical take is NOT worrying about end goal. Live in the moment and there is no pain or comparison ❤

It’s true, like 99.99% of the advise that Gary speaks. I understand it can be hard I’ve been there probs still there if I’m being brutally honest but nail on the head, there’s enough for everyone. Block those who keep your thoughts busy - I’m taking that one away🙏🏾

Everyone who is successful didn’t happen over night and even then those you see who are successful prob had the same issues before they became successful. You have to climb the ladder and take small steps and eventually all the steps you take will lead to your overall success and even then keep pushing to be ambitious and work hard towards your future.

I remembered a friend that i was talking about how things were going for me and she said "please, please tell me that you don't make 6 figures." That made me decide to not to contact her anymore.

I agree only on the poision part. Because if everybody else is selling all the houses in town and you are not going to be doing very good. I would say, spend that time recognizing your succeses: X person sold 10 house and you sold 2. Congratulate yourself on those 2 houses. Dont minimize it by saying I only sold 2 and she sold 10. Tell yourself you did a good job and consciously feel good about it. Because you may never sell more houses than X person. Maybe you start selling 10 after hardwork and the other person its on its way to 30.

Its not necessarily “jealousy & eny” its more so seeing where others are in life and thinking you are so far behind everyone else at your age that you cant seem to see the light at the end if the tunnel…to the point where u just wanna give up

There is a distinction - you can compare yourself and be jealous and envious OR you can be happy for them but still feel like shit about yourself (ie you are kind to them but feel bad about self - wish he addressed this case more..
