I don't think anyone should be mad at Apple for throttling but rather be upset that they weren't upfront about it. Modifying the release notes after the fact only made that worse.

The battery replacement didn’t do anything to my iPhone 6s. It lags when I type, the battery dies very quick, and it’s just glitchy and laggy in general. I wish I didn’t update it to iOS 11 smh

Someone will explain to me. What does the new battery have in common with faster phone operation? After all, only the battery was replaced, not the processor...

Wow, that's unreal. I'm looking at replacing mine because at 88% cap, it's having shut down issues. They replaced the battery last year and bricked the phone, gave me a replacement and it's worse than my original. The 6S has the worse battery life, stock is 1715 and it sucks. There's aftermarket batteries that have 2200~2500 that fit the 6S.

That weird because I have the iPhone 6 for 4 years now and even though the battery does drain fast and the phone is slow I tested geekbench and the score was the same ad if it was new. That weird

am i the only one who notices the display difference? i know this difference from my own iphone6 when i was replacing the cracked display.
look at the whitescreens, its not only the light, its the 'whiteness' or warm/cold type of the display. :o

So, pretty sure I need to go get a battery replacement then. My geekbench scores are only slightly better than those of the "bad" scores in this video.

My 3 year old iPhone 6 Plus heats up pretty quick every time I’m on FB and IG or try to read news artices, and it will just slow down and all of a sudden will freeze and crash. I brought it to apple store only to be told that my battery’s fine. I wonder if it would make any difference if I change the battery or not.

It doesn’t look like much of a difference but I need to change the battery on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, it’s been lagging and stuggling on loading simple stuff, like I was trying to save a screenshot on a note and it took about 3 minutes for it to load and finish doing the job

Left one has 2 bars of network while the Right one has full 4 bars.
I think some of the lag might be due to low network coverage. I'm wondering if changing the battery increases network coverage as well.

My phone has an even lower benchmark. Been waiting since February to get battery replaced. Apple said late March or early April.

What was the battery’s health before the replacement? It it’s around 80% max capacity, that’s when it’s supposed to be replaced.
