The Fat Electrician said he knew a guy that would throw a rubber duck instead of a flash bang when breaching rooms. Legendary

Shawn, you’ve inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming a speech therapist for mimes. To all of you out there pulling a rope with no end; to those that feel trapped inside an invisible box, I will save you from a life on the streets. James Trotter’s Speech Therapy for Mimes, LLC.

That’s cool. They used to call 1st Force Recon Baghdad SWAT as well. Just hunter killer ops nonstop. This was just prior to standing up MSOB. Ryan, you should really have MGuns Mariota Pa’u or one of the other plank owners from MSOB on. It would be an awesome conversation..

The Charlie Sheen in me really badly wants to know specifically what he means by "commando shit."

I participated in both these wars too. I just turned 20 yrs old and at the time I thought I was being patriotic, defending my country against “terrorism”. The flags were all waving, United We Stand and Never Forget bumper stickers were on all the cars, and when I was deployed, we’d get letters from grade-school kids thanking us for our service. Little did I know then that the war would drag on long enough for some of those kids to enlist and deploy themselves.

The big gut punch is realizing a few years later that we were all lied to about 9/11, Iraq having WMD’s, Saudi/Israel involvement, and a whole lot of other things which made our military actions unjust and immoral. While we took out some genuinely despicable people along the way, that doesn’t excuse the sheer destruction, death, and pain we caused to everyone affected by these manufactured wars for power and profit.

The US and its coalition forces are hardly the good guys in these stories and its strange to hear these interviews gloss over the fact that its not heroic to kick down someone’s door and shoot them when you’re literally the one who invaded their country under false pretexts. You’re the baddie if you did this, not them.

They were protecting their country from a foreign invasion. I’ve come to understand this during my career. This guy should too if he has any reasoning ability.
